The Parable of the Poker Chip

When you sit down to a game of Poker, you play others – all of which have varying amounts of chips. The person at the table with the highest number of chips has the least to lose, the person with the fewest chips has the highest risk.

With more poker chips, you can take greater risks – bluff a hand or two, skip a round or bet big in the hopes of a large payout.

In poker, you have to win a hand to get more chips. However, in life, you control how many chips you have and how many chips you want through esteem. People with high self-esteem have more chips than those with low self esteem.

Want that promotion? Want to ask that girl/guy on a date? All it takes is chips.
