Acid is a chemical compound that can be corrosive. Many people speak with an acid tongue – which means in a sharp manner by which the words are meant to corrode the other being. However, when you think about acid in the chemical sense, it must be stored somewhere before use. There are so many rules for storing acids so that they do not corrode the container in which they are stored.
Before speaking with an acid tongue or storing acidic thoughts, remember that acid can do as much if not more damage to the vessel than to the target it is intended for. Rarely does the acid have little affect on the instigator – it is bound to do damage, no matter what.
